Services
Integrated trauma therapy
for the people who hold things together.
Telehealth therapy across Michigan. 53-minute sessions. In-network with BCBS, BCN, and Priority Health. Evidence-based. Integrated. Direct.
Who This Is For
First responders, healthcare, high-performance professionals.
Status Check works with first responders, healthcare workers, engineers, technical leaders, and anyone whose work or life puts them in the position of holding things together. You don’t need to fit a specific profession to be a fit for the practice.
Many clients also navigate ADHD or high sensitivity alongside what they’re carrying — the integrated approach fits these well. If something in what I offer speaks to where you are, we should talk.
The Approach
Integrated by default.
Therapy here is integrated. Mind, nervous system, sleep, stress response, and the rest of the systems are addressed together. The right approach is the one that fits you, not the one that’s most popular or most familiar to the clinician. We figure that out together.
As we build a foundation and the work deepens, we may also discuss sleep, nutrition, and gut-brain communication when they’re relevant to what you’re working on.

What The Work Looks Like Over Time
Treat it like training.
Mental health work doesn’t happen overnight. The nervous system didn’t arrive where it is in a week, and it doesn’t unwind in one either. The clients who see the most progress treat it like training — consistent, patient, willing to do the work between sessions. The gains compound.
